The RX6 composite goalie stick is Bauer's updated version of the popular Vapor X:40 goalie stick, with updated graphics. As with all of the sticks in the RX line, the RX6 was designed with mobility and playability in mind. Active goaltenders who need a maneuverable stick, and who like the play the puck, will enjoy the RX6.
The shaft of the RX6 is designed using Bauer's Double Concave Geometry - a design that features concave sidewalls, a flat top and bottom, and rounded corners for a comfortable, secure grip.
The paddle of the RX6 features Bauer's Asymetric Paddle Geometry - a flat-faced design on the puck facing side, which has two important benefits. First, the flat surface increases rebound control, as a the trajectory of a puck that is played off of a flat face is easier to control than the trajectory of a puck played off of a paddle with a curved surface. Second, due to the fact that less material is used in creating a flat faced paddle, the stick is lighter than similiar, traditionally designed composites. The paddle and blade are made of fiberglass which has been injected with a polyurethane core to reduce weight and dampen vibrations.
The RX6 comes in two colors: white/black/gray and white/orange/black.

The TG TRUE SIZE paddle measurement method was created to make ordering goalie sticks online easier, and more accurate. As each manufacturer measures their sticks in their own unique way, we created this method to help you compare your stick at home with the models that we have in our inventory. By knowing how your current stick size compares to the stick that you're looking to purchase, you can make the best purchasing decision possible.
To measure your current stick, place the end of the tape measurer at the point where the top of the paddle meets the shaft of the stick on the non-blade side. Then, measure down the paddle in a straight line until the tape measurer crosses the bottom of the blade to determine the TG True paddle size. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on the blade pattern, but it will help you choose the most comparable size.
