PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Vaughn VKP 7990 Knee/Thigh Guard features a three section main body design for flexibility.  Molded high-density plastic inserts provide impact protection and they wrap around the leg for complete coverage.  An additional molded "Double Shield" plastic and HD foam protector sits atop the lower knee and thigh for maximum coverage and impact resistance.

Wide inside knee area with half-inch thick padding to reduce side knee impacts.  The interior of the knee area is lined with synthetic leather for durability and slip resistance.  Addtional nylon webbing loops at the top of the thigh can be laced with skate lacing to help tie the units in place and keep them from slipping.

Adult Sizing - one size fits all for ages 14 to Adult.

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor choice I got these hoping they would protect my knees. There are two issues with them, one is that they tore in the stitching pretty fast (within a month) and the other is they don't stay on my knees (apparently I need bigger legs). I made a custom 'integration' with a player jock so they would stay up more, this worked fair, but they tore pretty soon so I am using the reebok revoke setup where you tie them into the pad and they are great.

PRODUCT Q & A

How to keep from slipping?

These knee pads are constently hindering my movement and causing me alot of discomfort how can I keep the from sliding besides taping them and without holding them up with skate laces?
Asked by: Anonymous
you can stitch or tape up the elastic bands to make them fit your legs better (if they are too big). Also I used a player jock that has the velcro option at the bottom of them and used some lace to tie the knee protectors a loop at the top, then put them into the player pants (I removed the cup and used that in my goalie cup for double protection) and that kept them up better. I'd go with the revoke option that lacesinto the pad and has elastic bottom to allow movement and still keep the knee protection on the knee.
