With the return of the "Vision" name, Vaughn returns the new T9500 Catch Glove closer to it's original namesake - the extremely popular T5500 Catch Glove. Though the two gloves feature a similar fit and feel, a few improvements have been made to the 9500 to improve both durability and performance. For example, the 9500 features a shorter thumb mold to increase the width of the pocket, and skate lacing has been added to the pocket for a softer feel at impact. Additionally, an improved wrist strap allows the glove to be pulled more tightly to the wrist, and added lacing was placed in the finger perimeter area of the palm to further secure the internal molded plastics.

  • Wider notch heel area of the glove allows added room for stick placement while stick handling or shooting
  • Neoprene inner glove for added control
  • Molded high density cuff box construction
  • Pro spec construction
  • No binding cuff for more effective blocking surface
  • Large width thumb tunnel for control
  • Select material for heat forming
  • Dual hand straps for adjustment, with an improved wrist strap to allow the glove to be pulled more tightly to the wrist
  • Reinforced perimeter edge for stiffness
  • Large T-web angled to provide complete puck coverage on the ice
  • Large depth T-web for puck retention with skate lacing in pocket for a softer feel at impact
  • Finger tip deflector ramp

Measure your hand from the heel of the palm to the tip of the middle finger, then consult the chart below to find the size that will work for you.

Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.
  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
