PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

All new for 2013 is the CCM Extreme Flex Pro Catch Glove. The EFlex Pro is more of a catching glove than previous Lefebvre designed gloves. The pocket size has been increased from the Reebok Premier 4 580 and 590 model catchers. The cuff box size has been reduced to provide maximum catching surface. The break angle on the new 600 falls between that of the Reebok 580 (90 degree break) and 590 (75 degree break) making for the optimal catching style glove.

A HD foam finger rail has been added to the backside of the catcher for added protection along the backside of the fingers. The back cuff is free floating from the catcher allowing the goalie to protrude the glove out and forward. This allows the goalie to really square the glove up to the shooter. The stock one piece cuff design offers a solid rigid surface that will not bend when hit with a puck. A two piece cuff is available through custom order.

Internally the catcher is wrapped in Reebok's grey SureGrip material. Suregrip is a no slip material that has great durability and really keeps your hand in place. Inside the glove there are three tightening straps; backside of the finger, backside of the hand, and the wrist lock. This gives the goalie the option to wear the glove as tight or as loose as they would like for a true custom fit.

Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.

  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
